The following are installation instructions for the 52″ Natural Brown Log Recessed Mount Ceiling Fan Light:
Note: The instruction manual specific to your model is the final authority; this content provides general procedures and precautions:
🔧 Preparation Before Installation
📌 Safety First
Cut off the power: Completely disconnect the power to the target circuit at the circuit breaker in the distribution box, and confirm that there is no power using a voltage tester.
Use appropriate tools: screwdriver, wire cutters/strippers, wire nuts, electrical tape, sturdy ladder, and auxiliary support.
🛠️ Installation Steps (General)
1) Check the Electrical Box
Ensure that the ceiling electrical box is load-bearing (fan-rated) and securely fixed to a beam or support structure to support the weight of the ceiling fan.
2) Install the Bracket/Base
Use the mounting bracket or plate included with the product to fix it to the ceiling electrical box.
For concrete or brick ceilings, expansion bolts are required.
3) Mount the Ceiling Fan Body
Hang the ceiling fan body or unit onto the bracket according to the instructions, or secure it with hooks/clips to ensure temporary fixation for wiring.
4) Connect the Wires (Core Step)
👉 This is the key to the entire installation: connect wires by color, ensuring safety and secure insulation.
| Ceiling line color | Ceiling fan line color | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Black (or Brown) | Black(or Brown) | Hot wire / Fan motor |
| White | White | Neutral line |
| Green / Yellow‑Green | Green or bare wire | Grounding wire |
| Blue (if applicable) | blue | Lighting control line |
📌 Note:
Use wire nuts to connect the wires and wrap them with electrical tape to ensure they do not loosen.
If there is a remote control/receiver: First, connect the ceiling hot/neutral wires to the remote control wires, then connect the wires from the remote control to the fan motor/light fixture accordingly.
➡️ For detailed connection examples, please refer to the electrical diagram in the instruction manual.
5) Secure the Cover Plate and Housing
Reinstall the wire box cover plate/cover so that all wiring is hidden inside.
Tighten all mounting screws to ensure overall stability.
6) Install the Fan Blades
Install the solid wood blades one by one according to the instructions, checking the spacing and balance between each blade.
Some models require installing the blade arms first before installing the blades.
7) Install the Light Fixture & Light Bulb
If the light fixture is an integrated type, secure the light source/lampshade using screws or clips according to the instructions.
Install the appropriate light bulb (meeting the power/model requirements).
8) Restore Power & Test
Turn on the circuit breaker in the distribution box and test the fan’s rotation direction and the light switch to ensure they are working properly.
If there is a remote control/speed controller, set it according to the accompanying instructions.

❗ Safety and Precautions
🧠 Electrical Standards
A ceiling fan rated safety load electrical box must be used; a regular light fixture box may not be able to safely support the weight.
All wire connections must be insulated with wire caps; exposed wires are not permitted.
Installation Height
The fan blades should be at least 7 feet (approximately 2.1 meters) from the ground.
🧑🔧 Consult a Professional Electrician if Unsure
If the original wiring colors or connection methods in your home differ from the typical color coding described above, or if you are unfamiliar with electrical safety procedures, it is recommended to hire a certified electrician.
